Put yourself in the corner of the recording
Screen + camera mode composites a camera bubble over the screen recording. Four corners, three sizes, optional mirroring — and you can drag it in the preview to see exactly where it will land.

How to do it
- Switch to “Screen + camera”The camera is requested only at this point, never on page load.
- Position the bubbleDrag it in the preview or pick a corner in the panel; the output matches what you see.
- Pick a size and mirror if neededS/M/L; mirroring is for your own comfort, not for text on screen.
- RecordThe bubble is composited into the video, not added as a separate track.
Where to put the bubble
Bottom-right is the default because most slides and code editors put their controls on the left and their scrollbar on the right. If your content is bottom-heavy, move it up.
Keep it under a quarter of the width. A bigger bubble covers the thing people came to watch.
It is composited, not a separate file
The camera is drawn onto the same canvas as the screen, so the exported MP4 has one video track with the bubble already in place. No editing step, no second file to sync.
Mirroring only affects how you appear; it never flips text in the screen recording.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move the bubble while recording?
Yes. Position and size are read on every frame, so dragging it updates the output live.
Is the camera recorded separately?
No. It is composited into the single video track.
What if I have no camera?
The preview shows a “no camera detected” placeholder and the recording continues with the screen only.
Does the camera make the file much bigger?
Marginal — the bubble is a small region. The screen content dominates the bitrate.
